i am a frequent consumer at targets until the day of December 17,2009 when i entered your store located on 20Th ave in new york city, queens. i attempted to purchase an item at your store for the advertised price when i reached the counter to pay for the item i was told the price was wrong i took a picture of the advertisement while i was still in the store when your store realized the item was priced wrong.

the manager had the floor personal remove the item from the shelves. and attempted to change the price after not purchasing the item. i proceeded to complete the sale of the remaining items.

your manager and security was rude and i was embarrassed in front of other consumers. it was your store's error in wrongly pricing that item, and i was treated like i criminal.

Review about: Target Manager.

Just pay for the *** thing if you want it so bad. It's people lime you that makes target raise the prices. Selfish *** e r, die slow.

“hmmm... just a shot in the dark but do you work for target May I help you find something?”

Yes indeed! If you’ve been lurking here for a while you’ll already know exactly what role I have, which store I work in, and why I’ve modified the company tagline for use on this forum.

“If so "may I (sic) help you find something?" is something i (sic) would never hear out of a target employee.”

That makes no sense. Did you have a comment to add to this thread or not?

“i will be wrghting (sic) to EA Sports regarding this matter and i will send them my pictures to prove it”

What exactly do you want from EA Sports? Or, Target for that matter? I’m curious…

“toy sorpts (sic) EA Sports sure shot.. model #02025 0 54682 02025 2”

Okay, I think I’ve identified that item as Target DCPI 088-03-0048 which sells for $69.99 in many Target stores, but is discontinued (NCF in Target lingo).

“ui (sic) am in the process of getting the pictures off my digetal (sic) camera and i (sic) can attach them”

I doubt you can do that on this site. If you still wish to share your images trying using a free on line hosting service and post the link here.

“the advertised price was $9.99”

Very unlikely. If the street price of an item is around seventy dollars, why would you expect to buy it for 86% less? If something is too good to be true there’s probably a reason – in this case a wrong sign or you misread a sign for something different.

“when i (sic) reached the counter i (sic) was told to pay $59.00 dollars”

I doubt you were told to pay anything. Perhaps you should say you were asked to pay the correct price? At $59.99 the item is marked down twenty-five percent. Quite generous for a retailer!

“the price of $9.99 was wrong.. remember i (sic) have pictures”

Exactly! You either read something in error, or you saw something in error. Either way you are not entitled to the erroneous price! You can kick and scream all you want. Take more PIX if you want. You are very unlikely to get this item for $9.99! Get over it!

(a) What was the item?

(b) What was the item DPCI number?

(c) What price was advertized on the signage?

(d) What price were you asked to pay at the check lane?

Unless you give us these facts we can’t follow up on your claims.

“and i (sic) was treated like i (sic) criminal.”

What have you done in your life to know how a criminal is treated?
