Employee stole my mother's gift card. He helped her use it (as it was faulty) by entering the numbers in his phone.

Note, I have bought her gift cards from there often and she never had a problem. Clearly, a faulty gift card. The employee was successful in helping her with her first purchase. When she went to buy it again, the card was at a zero balance.

The employee must have used it as it was used on day she was out of town visiting me. Target stands will not refund the balance and claims my mother used it. She was not in town at the time the purchase was made but they will not tell us what she allegedly bought. They are covering their own employee and have treated her badly.

She as target shopper through and through.

Our family will never buy from Target again. They are hiding the details of the transaction that I PAID for in order to protect their employee who clearly stole and abused elderly.

I don't think the employee stole the card number as there are cameras everywhere with loss prevention constantly watching us and watching customers. It is NOT easy for employees to steal! I think your Mom forgot there was no balance left on it after she used it.


The best thing to do is to send a letter to their Corporate headquarters.
