I ordered a patio set from target.com. It arrived just under 2 weeks later.
The table was shattered. We called and they said a new one would be delivered and I received an estimated delivery date. I have since received 8 estimated delivery dates after 4 phone calls and 9 emails. A target.com estimate is a guess that has no basis in reality.
They have no idea when the replacement will be available and will be shipped.
They will take a return but will only give me a refund once the replacement is delivered and then returned. So no matter what I was told to just sit and wait until it arrives because "they are unable to cancel a replacement once it is placed in the system." The representative said he can't do anything about it and I was offered no compensation.
