Most companies assist customers who are in the store before assisting customers who call the store. If there are no customers in the store to assist, then the employee is able to assist the customer who calls the store.

Let's say that the call was transferred to customer service, and there was someone already being assisted.

Should the employee take the phone call, help the customer no matter how long it will take, and leave the customer who was already being assisted waiting?

What if there was a line of customers waiting to be assisted. Should they wait to be assisted while the employee is helping the customer on the phone who called the store no matter how long it would take to help that customer?

How would you feel if the above happened to you?

yeah they should do what you suggested in this case since my sister is deaf and need more help than the other customers. They should also have people trained to help people with disabilities by having them learn sign language so that they can communicate with my sister.

If the the other customer is not disabled than they can shop by themselves, my sister has a disability and should get priority treatment. i would go shopping with her but her speech is mumbled and it is kind of imbarrassing to have people know we are related or even shopping together.

They get paid to help, and the disabled should not be discriminated against. If anything they shoiuld get priority.

Exactly who should pay for the employees learning sign language?

Exactly when should the employees take these sign language classes?

they make millions a year I don't see why they cannot have paid training for their employees to learn sign language. They can take night classes and or offer the classes when they are not working

OP:

This is what you stated...

they make millions a year I don't see why they cannot have paid training for their employees to learn sign language. They can take night classes and or offer the classes when they are not working

Do you really expect an employee to take a night class to learn anything work related on their time off?

Do you really expect an employee to take a class to learn anything work related on their time off?

Their time off is for them to do whatever they want to do.

They are not at work at that time. For me, it would have to be when I am on the clock.

I don't see why your sister cannot shop for herself. Deaf people can do their own shopping.

The world does no revolve around your sister, they have other customers in the store and cannot give her one on one attention. If she cannot shop on her own why don't you go shopping with her?

well i am imbarressed by her that is why, she is deaf so she does not talk clearly, i dont want people to know we are related so i called them to get them to help her, because sometimes when i shop with her and she talked unclearly people look at me and her and it is imarrassing. i don't want them knowig we know each other. but they get paid to help and they made her wait ten minutes because they were helping others but she is handicapped so she should be helped first.

That's sad that you are embarrassed by your sister. You don't deserve to have her as your sister, she deserves better than you.

You are the embarrassing one. You should be shamed of yourself.

That is what I think but keep in mind the OP is not always the one posts these messages. Sometimes someone else pretends to be the OP to troll, however if this is not the case I agree with you. But usually when the name is written in black and unclickable it is posted by the troll who is known to do things like on this site.
