I bought a I pod touch for my daughter for Christmas 2 years ago. The sales associate asked if I would Like to protect the I pod for $29.00 for 3 years?

I specifically asked " does it cover the screen if it breaks?" And he replied YES it covers everything. My daughter dropped it and the screen broke and now TARGET service plan center says that the screen is not covered.

I also called TARGET CUSTOMER RELATIONS submitted a formal complaint they said they can do nothing to help. This is a terrible way to sell service plans and SHAME ON TARGET!

Monetary Loss: $225.

They love the customers that waste money on extended warranties. You never read what is actually covered for most stores they never even give you what is covered and what is not covered lesson learned!


Very few service plans cover abuse. Next time read what it actually covers instead of taking a minimum wage employee's word for it.
