Dear Service Person, I am extremely disturbed by the service I have received from Target employees.

I came into the county in September, 2017. I went to the Target in Pleasant Ridge, Cincinnati, Ohio on September 22nd to purchase a gift for someone which is unavailable in the country we live in. I discovered that the $6 automatic card shuffler was unavailable in the store and had to be shipped to me for another fee of $3-4. But the two young ladies excitedly explained to me how I could get free shipping if I just signed up for a Target credit card. I expressed some anxiety over this as I explained to them I have no current address in the USA except a shipping address. “no problem” say these young ladies.

And my problems began. First I did not receive my first bill before my visit ended, or the credit card. I was left with only the temporary number for authorization of purchases. I began to receive telephone calls on my US MagicJack December 17th about a delinquent account balance. I immediately paid the bill of $44-$50 dollars thru my US bank. I was called again by Target about 10 days later and was informed that the check would be wandering around the building because/telephone call/Target CS that I had used the original account number and not the current one (never received).that was sent to the shipping address. Then I wrote another check on January 2nd, 2018 with the correct authorization number and, of course, stopped payment on the first check. Unfortunately Target cashed the first check and then cashed the 2nd check WITH A ZERO BALANCE!!!!. This second check was stopped by my bank. And then without any contact from Target late fees began to accumulate which included a punishment fee of $30 for doing the logical thing of stopping payment on monies not owed and on a check Target employees informed me was lost somewhere.

I have no service, from your staff just insistence that this treatment of a customer is completely reasonable. I am currently diagnosed with cancer since November, 2017 and really do not have time or the patience to straighten this out. And I am notified every week that Target has reduced my credit rating from 777 (someone who pays their bills responsively) to a 680!!! I wish I could go back to see those two young girls who said there would not be a problem. But that opportunity may never arrive for me. BTW, my friend loves her card shuffler.

I am now told that because I did not get in touch with Target and Target had no-way to contact me (which has my address and phone #) they continue to bill me with interest.

Their secret person to person number is 612.815.5881

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Preferred solution: clear my credit rating with all credit reporting agencies/mark my "account"as CLOSED.

That sounds nasty! You shouldn't be so obsessed about people using the restroom. Time to come out of the closet.

I hope you took the opportunity to wander into whichever bathroom you wanted to check out for opportunities. The problem(s) you encountered at Target is all a part of it's new corporate strategy of "inclusiveness." Target doesn't care about common sense in either their bathroom policies nor giving credit cards to foreign nationals as long as some clerk gets credit for the "sale."
