Although there was no record of the order as of 7pm on July 11th, the order did show up on July 12th.

Order #9016026258093. I placed an order on July 2nd using a Target gift card and my card for remaining balance.

This was a gift for a friend of mine. I checked the tracking on the FedEx site and it was delivered to the Exton, Pennsylvania store on July 8th. I called on July 11th and they have no record of any order coming to the store. They also were of no help.

They didn't offer to look into where the order was. I also called the Eagle, Pennsylvania store to make sure it wasn't delivered there my mistake.

I'm now out $61.47 and have no item to show for it.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $61.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

I didn't like: Not receiving product i paid for.

As the stores do not have access to the online system as far as customer accounts go, they will not know an order is in store until it is scanned in by the receiving clerk. This is common with nearly all brick and mortar stores with an online companion store.

The tracking will show you that it was delivered by the shipper of course, because it was. But until you get the email saying it is ready for pickup, it does not exist.

This is because the store will not take financial responsibility for the item until it is scanned in. It also will not show in the pick up screen until such, as you saw when they told you there was no order.

Next time, please read and understand the pick up instructions that appear at the conclusion of every single online order you choose to have shipped to a store.
