Target - Expect more???
Here is a chat I had recently when I tried to order a product online – not very satisfying and they never offered to fix the problem – just dumped it back in my lap.

Richard:The website won't complete my order
Macey:I'm sorry to hear that. Let me check and see what best I can do.
Richard:I keeps on asking for security code - i entered it four times now
Macey:May I know the error you are getting?
Macey:Can you please provide me the cart number?
You'll find the cart number at right bottom on the cart or checkout page.
Richard:I wish I could tell you but your site just kicked me out of my cart and took me back to the nome page
Macey:I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused with this.
Macey:Richard, It looks like there might be some technical issue with the website. I suggest you to try deleting cookies, cache from the browser and refresh the page and then try again. It should work fine.
Richard:This is wasting a lot of my time
Macey:I'm sorry, Richard. You can also try with different browser to place the order.
Richard:I could just forget about it - over an hour to do this and its still not ordered
Macey:I'm sorry for the trouble you have been going through.

Richard:How about letting me order for the same price next week when I have time to deal with this?
Macey:Richard. prices and promotions keeps on changing at Traget.com, and as the prices will be set by the merchandise we do not have the option to honor the price match.
Macey:In this case, I suggest you to call our Target Guest service department at 800-591-****. They'll be able to help you with this.
Richard:So flaws in your website will cost me $40 more for the same product unless I try to order over the phone - nice customer service

Richard:Isn't the store motto "expect more"? What part of this transaction should lead me to expect more? I can't even order a product from this company?
Subsequent attempts to follow up with customer service have been ignored
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $22.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I was also unable to place an order at target.com. Same issue - they kept asking for my security code.
Entered it five times and then gave up. Do you think they are trying to avoid having to ship small orders for free?
They offered a solution call to place the order. Why wait a week to try and reorder that's an awful long time for a problem like that, if you had tried multiple times within that week and the problem still persisted then honoring the price the next week would have made more sense. Finally you seemed to have gone into that chat ready to discount their help, as once they made a suggestion with something to attempt you attack back with its wasting your time and that you could just not order I their site.
I noticed the same thing that you did about the whole chat thing. That is why I asked if he had his parents permission before chatting with them and posting this review. I doubt anyone older than seven would act this way.
I called the number and took 30 minutes to place the order and then found out later the order was never placed by them.
