I purchased a Haier tv thru Target five months ago. Their return policy is 30 days (not nearly long enough), the manufacturers warranty is one year.
Haier sent parts (one broken, the local repair man showed me), he put in the other part. The tv worked for three days. Called Haier nine days ago, still waiting on a reply. Have made four calls in the last two day to talk to a manager.
No response. This issue has been going on for a month. Spoke to a customer rep.
at Target today, and was basically told "oh well, not our problem". Do not buy any electronics from Target unless their warranty will match the manufacturer.
Monetary Loss: $400.
