Sale Price Refund not given

I purchased an item on November 29th as a Christmas Present for $69.99 and three weeks later it went on sale for $49.99. When I went to Guest Services to get a $20.00 Credit with my receipt, they said I had to return the product and re-purchase at the lower price. I find it ridiculous that i should have to bring back an item (Box is very large and bulky) return the item then turn around and re-purchase just to get the lower price. Just about every major department store offers a 30 Day price guarantee - except Target. Well I spent my last dollar at Target.

Oh grow up, if you want the cheaper price return the product and re-purchase it or pay an extra $20. It is called making choices.

Surely your parents and teachers taught you to do this.

It is also called not getting your way all the time. Surely your parents don't give in to you always.

Well I am tired of hearing about y'alls complaints against Target. You all are clearly idiots, just get to know their policy and everything will be ok. The sale has to be within 14 days you dip.

What are you thinking? Most stores will give a credit for "sale" prices.

"Clearance" prices are another thing. At the end of the selling season stores will drastically reduce prices to clear them out and make room for the next season's merchandise.

If you want the low clearance price wait till the end of the season, of course you take the chance that the item you want won't be there. I hope you will check the price adjustment policy where you shop next, if you end up shopping where I work you will find the policy is the same--NO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS ON CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE.

Target is the worst

I placed a order with target on line, called them back to cancel it 45 minutes later and they wouldn't cancel the order, my fault for dealing with them, but come on 45 min later. That's their ploy for getting your money super fast, I called 3 other places and they say you can cancel order within 24 hours. Target is the worst place to order anything on line!!!! Beside the fact I was on the call for 40 minutes trying to get someone to help me who spoke English! then I got the supervisor who was no help!!!!!

If the call center you called couldn't cancel the order, then it means it was already at the warehouse being processed for shipping, where they would have no control over it.

Here we go again. It seems like another person who expects them to bend the rules for them.

If you really were a long time shopper as you claim to be you would know about the 90 day return policy.

Maybe like Irish said not physically but mentally you really are ten years old. Your behavior sure reflects this.
