Target is making a killing on thier Bridal Registry

My daughter signed up for the Bridal registry. They recieved thousands of dollars worth of items and gift cards. They recieved 7 Crock Pots and and 8 pyrex sets. One item that they recieved was a $25 shower curtain that is only sold at Target. It came without the holes in the top to hang it up. She tried to exchange it for one that was not defective, but the store refused to let her because of the $20 limit on returns or exchanges with out a reciept. They get people to sign up so that they benefit from many thousands of dollars in sales, and then refuse to accept items for exchange or return for credit with out a receipt. You can not force people to give you a gift or sales receipt so that you can exchange gifts, but when they refuse to exchange a defective item they sell, it should be illegal.

You will never have any success at Target until you follow "You can beat them at their own"'s advice. They will never cooperate with you.

Since it is their policy to have a receipt, buy the same item again and return the defective one with your new receipt. That's the way they want it, so work within their own rules.

Good luck!! :p

#379605

Buy the same item again and take the defective one back with your receipt.

It is targets policy that you must have a reciept!! DON'T BLAME THEM!

Ripped off

I bought born free baby bottles that were advertised as 2 pk 9oz bottles for 10.99 from Target. They sent me one bottle for 10.99. I went back to the website and apparently they had changed their prices. I asked customer service to look up the price as of my order date and they kept saying that it was a bottle...not a 2 bottle pack. I was so furious because I know for a fact that it was a 2 bottle pack...they even showed 2 bottles in the picture. I think they just went and increased their prices because these bottles are in such high demand due to all the conterversy on plastic bottles containing BPA. Target is a rip off...I have read so many other complaints abt them and never believed that a big retailer would screw customers over...but this is definitely unethical...and it is not what I expect from a large retailer.

Check your email, order log, and packing slip to ensure that the item description explicitly says 2 pack. Then, take that up with Target Guest Relations.

Demand that they honor your TWO PACK if you have proof in order histories, packing slips, etc. that the order you have indeed says two.

Target sneaky prices with false advertising and horrible customer service

Wednesday March 4th 2008 I saw on www.target.com they had the V-Rocker Extreme DPCI: 249-11-**** as a temporary price cut as $19.99 and it clearly states "This item is available online and in stores." I went to Target in Bayshore NY. I had asked about the V-Rocker Extreme DPCI: 249-11-**** ...The said they had 4 and verified it was infact 19.99. When they went to look they said it was out of stock and proceeded to give me a listing of the other Target stores on Long island in New York. I then went in the car and called the Farmingdale NY Target and they gave me the same information only it was to late to go there at that point to pick it up but they told me to go back in the store and ask them to check in the back as they have 4 of them. I went back in asked customer service to check in the back for me and the lady laughed in my face and said they are unloading the truck that there was noone to look for me... There were over 30 people on staff that night and to top it she was ringing out another associate which was on the clock at that moment (which is not supposed to be done while they are on company time). She then ignored me so I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor came and contacted someone in the back.... The person in the back said "this had better be good and important" with a very big attitude. After the supervisor gave the DPCI number with out a blink of an eye the person on the other end said they were out of stock. The next day I went to Farmingdale store, they confirmed it was 19.99 but they are not in stock and sent me to Westbury, SAME THING, Westbury sent me to Commack, Commack sent me to the Medford store... I thought my journey was over since they had them in stock... got up to the register and they rung them up only now the price was $59.99.... guest services called Bayshore and they said that $59.99 was the price! I get home and call customer service ad they tell me www.Target.com and Target stores are seperate entities and not all prices online are the same in the stores.... THEN WHY DOES THE SITE SAY AVAILABLE ONLINE AND IN STORES? Pretty much they can do nothing, so why do they have a customer service line I wonder? I will never step foot in a target store ever again, nor will I accept presents from anyone that are purchased in the store or online... this experience has cured me of ever dealing with them again! Target, www.Target.com, V-Rocker Extreme Catalog # : 1062**** ASIN: B000RZLMR8 DPCI: 249-11-****, false advertising.

False pricing on target.com site

#649640

OH WELL, THEY DONT NEED YOUR MONEY. PRICES ONLINE DIFFER FROM IN STORES AND IF IT SAYS ITS IN STORE, THEY STILL CANT MATCH PRICE IT BC IT WAS A TEM.

PRICE.

HOW ABOUT YOU READ TARGETS POLICY AND ALSO CALL EACH STORE AND TELL THEM TO KEEO THE ITEM ON HOLD IF THEY HAVE ONE INSTEAD OF DRIVING AROUND LIKE A DUMMY. GOOD DAY LADY :p

#388256

dec. 8, 2011.

I was over charched at the register for a box of cerial. The manager at the customer service counter was happy to return my 26 cents and then told me that the lower price cereal was their brand market pantry. I went to check the shelf and found they had two different prices for the same product.

places. The label general mills 11.5 ounces

Target is way better than wal mart I don't care what anyone says. I know when I was looking for disney gift cards I was sent to 3 different stores all said to have them.

One lady explained, while yes they may have it inventory wise it might be pacakaged and hadn't come across it yet for current stock. Well i cut them slack and waited because I hate wal mart. I got my cards a couple days later.

Had you asked the manager for a rain check they would have given you one. I see them all over our stores!

#292365

Target.com and the Target stores will have different prices for some items. And just because it says it is availible in stores does not mean it's going to be in every single Target store. If you go into the store acting like a rude ***, then they will not help you to their fullest abilities, because I'll admit, if you act like a *** to me, I'll be a *** to you.

#251801

I am an online shopper. I use Google to search for items I am interested in buying.

No matter what product I am interested in the Target website is listed as a seller. However, when you go to their website, you cannot find the item. For example: I am looking for a Cook's Essential sauce pan. Target.com states they have the item.

When I entered Target.com website, it showed two TFal pans and nothing else. Is this legal?

I consider this false advertising to lure customers to their website in the hopes that they will purchase an item that Target does sell. Isn't this bait and switch?

#242855

May I Help You Find Something? you really need to stop sticking up for them because they actually do shady *** i have known many people that have worked at a target and I have heard of many indecent things about many different targets.

You are just trying to make them look good but it isn't working. Either you work for the company somewhere, you work at a target, or you are a lazy *** that can't move from in front of the computer anymore so you just talk *** to people over the internet.

#228423

TARGET SCREWS PEOPLE EVERYDAY...AND GETS AWAY WITH IT. THEIR UPPER MANAGEMENT LAUGHS ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.... :grin

#215830

You are a fool for driving around to different stores and assume the online price is the same as the store. Alot of companies are that way.

Online and retail store are not the same :)hENCE, T'S NOT FALSE ADVERTISING. GO TO WALMART IF YOU REALLY WANT SOME BAAAAD SERVICE!

#201063

Prices clearly marked on the shelf scan at a higher price at the register, this has been going on for two years in my local Target store, Increase bottom line through deceptive "mistakes" Please note too, never has the incorrect scan been lower then the shelf price, always higher.

I'm done with Target and checking with my neighbors they were done along time ago, same complaint.

Target Exchange Light Blubs.

I am the one who has a compliant listed on 1-14 the TARGET "NO" exchange. Just a little really funny follow up. I took the same letter into Target and left it for the manager. The letter was dropped off at the same place you EXCHANGE. In front of me was a man returning an open blister pack of light blubs and he was getting MONEY back. Oh he had a receipt. It just further confirmed the stupidness of Target. They won't take something unopened back - but they take back an open pack of light blubs because they had a receipt. How did they know the light blubs weren't used for 6 months and returned in a newer package. Good news I have not shopped at Target in almost 8 weeks AND I have moved all my prescriptions to another local pharmacy and I know it cost them more than $20.00 (differrence of the exchange I did not get) for their employees and pharmacist to make the calls. I feel like a winner and that is all that matters.

Pissed consumer info

I just sent a complaint toward target for the bogish practice that we received from their stores regarding a dam boppy pillow valued at $45 and was told that we were stuck because we did not have the receipt and the worst part about that was it was from our baby registry which totally makes no sense at all and if any target Manager or even the CEO would at least want to respond so that maybe I can get some assistance then my e-mail is fig20006****@***.com I don't mean no harm but I am pissed right now and feel like I've been wronged.

Good luck with that....I had a few items purchased off my baby registry to exchange and it seems that they really don't care whether they *** you off or not, or whether you ever shop there again....I might as well have been trying to negotiate with a tree stump instead of the store manager. To me, It makes no sense to lose a customer who spends lots of money at your store (or has registered at your store sending many friends and family with their money to spend) due to a $45...or $60 item or whatever. But this seems to be no problem for them.

Although, it is done often by collectors in the trading card community, it is shunned by serious card collectors to "feel" the packs. Also, the odds for finding a big hit in card packs are increased when you buy blaster boxes or hobby packs.

The gravity feed packs have lower odds of finding bit hits. Hint: Stay away from the gravity feeds.

If you are looking for the big hits buy blasters or hobby boxes. They place special hits in these packages more often then in the gravity feeds.

Closed account based on false attorney letter

Today I called Target to ask why my account was disabled and found out it had been closed! I asked why and was transferred to the Bankruptsy deparment! Apparently Target credit services recieved a letter from an attorney in my town stating that I was considering bankruptcy...nothing could be further from the truth! They even acted like it was my fault! I got the name and number of the attorney and called him and HE didn't know what they were talking about! I called them back, and of course they reopened my account, but I don't want that I want to know why they took this action against me without any consultation! I also gave the attorney, whose name is on the letter, the number so he could call but he doesn't think they will talk to him since it is third party. He did say that they may have broken a consumer law -reach of contract or something and that I may have a case. I don't know about all that but I am concerned as to how a company can take action against me with absolutely no contact with me! All of this is completely false and when I asked for a copy of the letter in questions I was told that they didn't have it ..just the information on the file. I told them that I knew better and that they had a hard copy or microfiche of that letter somewhere. I was told then by the Target rep that "she would do some research and try to find it" I told her that I contacted the attorney in question and he wanted a copy also. I am not sure what to do from here. I plan to send a certified letter requesting a copy of the original correpsondence from the attorney. Then what?

TARGET Return Policy for Baby Registry

I registered at Target for my baby shower. I received a play yard as a gift and just opened it to find it broken. I didn't open the box and assemble the play yard until now because my son is now 4 months old. I went to Target today to replace it or give me a store credit. They wouldn't let me return it since it was past 90 days. It is on my registry! I called the manufacturer today. I am fortunate that the manufacturer (L.A. Baby) is shipping me a play yard tomorrow without me having to return the broken one. I'll never shop or register at Target. If I knew they had an unreasonable return policy, I wouldn't have registered with them.

Wow, you know that returning those items to a store other than the one they came from is illegal, right? Fraud is a great example to set for your kids, huh?

#3404

I registered at Target for my baby registry, and at my shower I received 3 baby monitors, 2 diaper bags, and 2 bouncy chairs. I was so embarrassed that the Target registry had screwed up, especially because some of the shower gifts were from distant friends.

So, when I tried to return the items, I was informed that if they were over $20 without a receipt, they were unreturnable. Even though all the items were off the registry!

Needless to say I was p.o.'d. I luckily was able to return most of the items for store credit at Babies R Us (they are all perfectly new so I did not feel bad because I know that store can resell them).

As for the diaper bags, they are a Target exclusive, luckily $19.95 on the price tag. So when I went to return one, after showing my driver's license, the clerk only gave me $5 because they are now on "clearance"!

I told the clerk that I would have to shut down my Target registry because of the policy, she said, "O.K."

That's the last time I go to Target.

WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ??????????

I picked up my pictures at the brick target store today. It was a 12 exp. I paid for them and then left the store. I opened them in my car with my son and I was charged for 4 pics. Only one was mine. None of the other pics came out. I was charged for a cd & 4 pics $8.34 and I asked for my money back and the woman behind the counter as she gave me a credit back on my debit card which she said was cancelled right away but it was not and shemad a coment that its not her fault I can take good pictures. I saked her if they check the quality of the pics before they put them out and she really didnt care. She said what is there they put out even if the film was bad. I will nevr shop at that Target again. Iam still waiting for my credit back to my debit card.

Report to the BBB!!

I tried exchanging duplicate items I received from my bridal registry and was denied. I NEVER asked for cash, but for store credit. Their policy of exchanging the item for one in the same department is a lie, as well, as they would not allow me to do so. After reading so many negative comments, I think something needs to be done. We are being treated as thieves, when Target is the one who is the fraud! I would suggest reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as I did. It is not fair and should not be accepted! We are paying customers and should not be denied credit. I completely understand the policy in not providing a cash refund, but if we are not allowed to exchange defective, or duplicate items, and had no control in the gift receipt process, how are we accountable. They are basically stealing our money!

First off I completely agree with Another Consumer. Second of all I work for Target, and completely agree with their return policies.

Theres a reason we cant exchange something defective or no receipt. It's so we dont eat the loss. Think about it, if it was your company would you want to take hits and blows all the time like Walmart does? Walmart may make all the sales and is industry leader, but is also the best place to steal from.

Walmart is run by complete *** monkeys. I could steal something from Best Buy and take it to Target, but without a receipt they wont take it back. But then i turn to Walmart and bam!

I get money or store credit. Either way their company is eating loss everyday, and is completely idiotic.

#2440

Does anyone really believe the BBB is in the consumer's corner? This organization is membership driven.

Members pay dues. Who are the members? Not the consumer..

It is the businesses folks. To me it resembles the "good ole' boy network"

Target lost my buisness

Over the years i've spent a lot of money at target. No longer will they have me as a customer. I bought a DVD player there and it quit working 3 DAYS after i got it. I took it back and they would not give me my money back or give me in store credit. I was livid. So, I looked at the return clerk, right into her snaggle toothed face and said, YOU CAN KEEP THIS PEICE OF ***!! And I shoved the DVD box at her. I walked through the store for 5 minutes saying loudly, "I'm not shopping here anymore because they sell *** here." A few people looked at me and I just kept saying, "this place sells ***, then won't give you your money back." After that, I asked to see the store manager. A tall motard walked up to me. "Can I help you he asked?" I said, "Are you the store manager?" He replied, "I'm the front end manager." Great I thought, here's a completely *** illiterate ogre that's going to "help me." I repeated the dilemma of ME NOT GETTING MY MONEY BACK. He was so thoughtfull to go and get me the 1 800 number to where the *** ever to call. I repeated my dilemma and still he referred me to the 800 number. I looked up at him and said, "I'M NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!" I took the peice of paper he gave me with the number on it and ripped it up and threw it down on the ground in front of him. I continued to walk out of the store saying loudly that I was never shopping there again, while making contact will the quasi yuppie customers coming in. I have not been back to target. There are plenty of other places to buy homogenized garbage.

Well, aren't you a ***! Taking out all your anger on people who weren't even at fault.

You should have called the *** number: do you really think that the poor woman at guest service you screamed at had anything to do directly with your problem? She only WORKS there, and it's HER misfortune that she had to put up with a screaming piece-of-trash *** like yourself while she was simply trying to do her job.

You're getting angry at the wrong people, lady. Next time, call the number.

And by the way, Target will not miss having the likes of YOU enter their stores.

#5707

well, trust me, target gets plenty of business. one customer, probably not even ten customers, will effect that.

i'm sure it's just one less immature, bad-tempered customer they have to deal with.

#3046

TARGET SUCKS. I will never shop there again. Walmart gets my full business now.

#2753

Uh hello? Target makes billions and billions of dollars a year.

They can afford not to have your money.

:) My brother works at Target. He says eat it...

#2315

Target also now refuses to exchange merchandise without a receipt. I needed to exchange some Christmas gifts for my toddler for a larger size and was turned down.

They allow you to exchange up to $20 over a 12 month period, tracked by you drivers license. The truly infuriating thing was that I was ready to buy an extra $200 worth of clothing but left it all behind after the manager refused to exchange the extra six dollars that was over my limit.

You'd think with all that tracking technology they could look up my credit card number, recognize how much I've dropped in their store each year, and give me the *** six bucks. I'm never going back.

#2261

Actually Target's policy makes complete sense to me. It's called a safety blanket mrs.

And their policy is actually more flexible than most. Wal-Mart is losing so much money that they are considering to change to a similiar policy.

Ofcourse they offer receipt look up, and gift receipt print out.

But when i had a problem and i called guest relations they were very helpful and i got a full refund.

#2103

I wont shop their either but the funny thing is they TRULY don't care and it shows by there return policy . But the great thing is there are better places to shop I have come to realize that sell exactly the same things and even better.

So I am pretty content with the outcome.

:)

#1962

I am never shopping at Target either after what amounts to a $20.00 difference in an exchange on some DVD's they would not do for me... You can see my letter under T for Target.

You have to click on the big RED TARGET and there are several stories.

Although the spiteful person inme wants to send them an email every day for a month just to use up $20.00 in some poor employees salery at guest relations... What relations they don't care....

TARGET EXCHANGE "NO"

Dear Friends, Family and TARGET GUEST: I am so MAD, HURT, and ANGRY, with TARGET I don’t know whether to cry or laugh. I do know they have lost the HYLAND’S as customers. It is so very sad when a big corporation like TARGET has no authority to be human or make exceptions? It seems like in some very perverse way they like to say “NO” and make you feel like a convict whose picture is on the wall for the most wanted only because you want what is FAIR. When they make $1,000 of dollars in profit from you in one year they are willing to tell you that for $20.00 (this being the difference in the exchange price) take your business someplace else TARGET policy is TARGET policy. SORRY we will not make any exceptions. What has happened to us as people if for $20.00 you are just a big NOTHING to corporate GIANT - TARGET! (Wal-Mart here I come) BACKGROUND we average a minimum of 4 to 8 prescriptions filled there every month. We pay $25.00 for our co-pay and our insurance company reimburses them whatever the agreed amount is for the prescription. I would assume they are making a nice profit in the pharmacy department (by the way I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Target Crossroads pharmacy people that is one of the main reasons I get our meds filled with them) PLUS- I am probably at Target 4 or more times per month buying household items and plenty of gift cards during the holiday season (at least 8 this year). STORY - I was in Target on December 16, 2007 and bumped into Barry and the girls (I know this date without a doubt because of another story that has to do with “THIS HOME BELIEVES”). They were so very excited about buying Rich season 5 of the TV program 24(they probably paid between $35.00 and $45.00) and giving it to him for Christmas, knowing it would be some good entertainment while he spends his 4 weeks at the City of Hope for his transplant. Of course at this time I did not know that we already owned season 5 which is totally my fault since I told them it would be a great gift. It was in the eyes and mind of Taylor and Jordan the perfect well thought out gift for Uncle Richie. Yesterday January 10, 2008, I went to Target to EXCHANGE the season 5 “24” DVD’s (current price on Target site $44.99 not on sale) for some SEINFELD DVD’s (current price on internet $33.99, since I will no longer shop at Target I can not verify the current in store NOT on sale prices). I was told that without a gift receipt or the actual receipt I would only get $14.98 towards the $34.00 purchase of the Seinfeld DVD. Apparently if you can believe TARGET would sell the “24” product for less than their cost at a Thanksgiving sale then I am only entitled to the lowest selling price the product has sold for sometime in the past YEAR, without a receipt. After much discussion from their customer service people about - lie to your friends tell them the DVD’s skip or they are damaged to get the receipt and then you can return them and then you can exchange them for FULL CREDIT. I told them I did not want to ask Barry for the receipt and ruin what the girls were so proud to give to Rich. And in my world I just wanted the Christmas gift giving experience to us to be perfect for them (all those ohhhs and ahhhs when you open those gifts). Besides with Barry’s limited time and situation you know he no longer has the receipt and again I would not ask him. I called the manager yesterday Lee and did not receive a call back. No surprise there. I called today and talked to Manager Maria. Same story we don’t care if we lose you as a customer you only get $14.98 credit without a receipt. I asked her and begged if she could look up my ATM number and see exactly how much we spend at TARGET in one year and that we were not criminals trying to steal from TARGET (she could not be bothered to look it up never asked for my name, never said I will take it up with someone else, never offered any other suggestions for a solution…. That is our policy good by have a nice life) and were they willing to lose us as shoppers for what amounts to about $20.00. The ANSWER is YES they DON’T care! I need to add at this point that I did lower myself and my standards and even tired using the “C” card (cancer, bone marrow transplant, entertainment for my hubby while at City of Hope). Still no give… I did tell her I was sorry for her that she worked for a corporation that had no authority to be human or have a heart. DEFEATED and shaking I was so very upset and now crying to a TARGET TEAM MEMBER over the phone that I said not good enough I want that exception on this exchange give me someone else to call. She said in a very polite COLD manner I can ONLY give you a number for GUEST RELATIONS… who are they kidding there are no RELATIONS with TARGET. This number is not something they keep by the phone since she had to leave me hanging for sometime to go retrieve the number. In case you need the number for Guest Relations it is 800-440-****. Several minutes and deep deep breaths later (although I was still shaking) I called the number. Talked to a nicer person named Michelle and told her the story….. No receipt and I don’t want to bother asking the people who gave us the gift, just want to exchange it… Target makes $1,000 of dollars profit from my family every year, husband has to have bone marrow transplant, can we please have an exception (by now this has become principal with me over $20.00 and I feel their $14.98 refund is an INSULT). She said SORRY that is our POLICY and we will not make exceptions for you or anyone else…. (crying again just thinking about how angry and sad this makes me I need to get this done and move on) and of course her worldly advise that since my husband had health issues I really did have bigger things to worry about…. INSULT….dhua….. do you think?….. Then help me out here LADY. This is my official protest I will be calling my favorite Target Pharmacy team members and asking them to transfer all of our prescription needs to another pharmacy…. Any one have recommendations or suggestions? I just want everyone to be aware of what we as consumers are dealing with when it comes to TARGET. Personally it makes me very sad. What makes me the angriest is myself…. As you know we have lots of Heath stuff happening at the Hyland House and I feel like the dam is ready to break at any moment and I hold it together quite well but when I let something like this get to me and I cry over the phone to the Target Team Member, I realize how little you or I really matter. I know I can not cure Rich’s cancers but maybe I can get a big corporation to make some exceptions now and again it gives me something to fight, and in someway I need something else to vent my anger towards especially when it is unjust and unfair. One more question I have asked them (and they of course have no answer)…. .Did the Seinfeld DVD’s go on sale during the year (you know they did)? And if they did why can’t you give me the lowest sale price on the Seinfeld DVDs for the $14.98 you are willing to give me on the return of the “24” DVD’s. I will be happy to pay the difference. In other words if I was trying to exchange Seinfeld for “24” I would get the lowest sale price Seinfeld sold for during the year. These policies are true for all Targets. Pass this on and let TARGET know we are worth more than a $20.00 difference…. Copy this letter and give it to them next time you are in the store…. Email them… Let’s start a TARGET complaint BLOG! Not that they would read it... they won't

TO: I Hate You:

Don't flatter yourself. You are nothing but a gruesome wreck that compels a person to look, and then makes you're sorry that you did.

There are no retakes looking at your ****y reviews.

Obviously you have, you dumb ***.

TO: "I HATE You"

What a stup*d posting. You are so ignorant that reading your posts are comical.

Why on earth do you think anyone would give a second glance at your rantings?

Hey ***. Go get laid rather than complaining about Target because you can't read or understand a simple return policy. Oh,and good luck at Wal-Mart, more of your kind shops there anyway.

Although I hate to read about the posters torment at the hands of The Target corporation, I do love reading that so many people have discovered for themselves how terrible a company Target actually is.

Keep up all of your good work. Maybe if we complain enough, there will at least be a shake up at the top and have the business revamped from its insane practices against their customers. Practices in stores in today's world just shouldn't be tolerated.

Posters to this site with their vulgarity should be ashamed of themselves, but to post such disrespectful comments, they don't have any integrity, so they know no shame. It's best if we ignore these faceless, nameless quips posted by the ignorant low rung of society. They have added nothing to your comment, not even amusing reading.

Way to go, guys, keep up your good work. Everyone needs to know what they are getting into when they try to do business at Target. I believe its symbol means they are shooting arrows at our foreheads or backsides, which ever direction they can get us!

God you are a whiney *** ***.. Hopefully your cancer ridden *** of a husband is dead and your two ***-*** he/she neice/nephews have been ***-raped repeatedly.

I hate people who try to get SPECIAL treatment because of what is happeneing in their life. All you *** *** have to be treated the same so that companies arent sued. You had no physical proof of what was paid for the items. Oh, but you should be trusted because you have a sick husband.

What the *** ever. Just ask the *** kids for the *** receipt and stop your ***.

Tellitlike... Just a little FYI back in 08 this was what I needed to tell my truth and my story. I did and I do to this day still tell people my Target story.... The really good news.... It will be 4 years in January since I spent one cent in a Target... and it has been a year since I walked through one (walked through last year with a friend on vacation), I was being a good sport. Hubby's health is still not good and the less stress in life the better.

As for Wal-mart, I just expect less from them but their prices are so good. A box of Life ceral at my market $4.52 (Ralphs) Wal-mart price $2.00. that is a HUGE savings.

Thanks for your responces and good luck with spendig your hard earned $'s... We just want a little respect RIGHT.

You can't successfully start a campaign against Target on this site. Please check out the Taco ****,Taco Bell posting listed as a Hot Topic.

You will find that once a complaint is made against Target, nothing posted on these sites under comments are anything but childish rants. Even though there are people who need to be warned about Target's practices, their efforts are thwarted by attacks under the comments section.

I agree with your request to start communication against Target in every venue possible, though. People that are boycotting the Target chain of stores are mounting and many of us used to spend large money there.

Now other retailers have the benefit of our money, which incredibly Target tries to criminalize any return brought back to their stores. Hopefully by other sites and verbal communications with people we deal with on a daily basis, our words will topple the Target giant. Right now they are ranked fifth largest in their market. If all continues like we wish, they will find themselves spoken of in the past tense.

Great posting.

Keep up the goo work and continue getting the word out. You will find that, in the end, we will win and Target loses all our hard earned money.

Credit Card Policy

I applied online for a card, recieved a $5000 limit and then could not even order the furniture, which was the reason I got the card in the first place. I had to wait to actually receive the card. What is the point of applying online if I can't even use it to get what I wanted, especially with such a high limit. No one on any help phone lines could change it or allow my order to go through. I canceled my order. Target sucks and I am taking my business elsewhere. I suggest you do as well!

Online credit applications have no way to order temporary cards. It's called a security risk.

Ofcourse if you would have applied in the store. You would have received a temporary card and been able to walk over to their kiosks and bought the furniture right then and there also saving your 10% at the same time.
