Target - Up And Up Acetaminophen Extra Strength Tablets Review from Phoenix, Arizona

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I rarely go to Target. However, there was a Target near my job and I headed over there during lunch. I was hoping to buy some caffeine pills like Jet Alert. When I went there they didn't have anything like that. I finally bought the Up & Up acetaminophen plus caffeine like excedrin. I've never had problems with reactions to other drugs like that, but those pills ended up being thrown away after taking a few of them. They made me nauseated whenever I took them. I also got an Italian style wrap sandwich from the small food place in the store because I didn't have much time for lunch. I ate a few bites and it tasted nasty and threw the rest out.

Tired or Receiving Merchandise That Has Been Opened

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I am so tired of receiving items that have been previously purchased and Target has neglected to ensure all items have been returned in the box. This is fourth different purchase I have made with Target that has had not had all the items included due to it being a previously purchased item. Is it that hard to have someone open the box to make sure everything has been returned. This is my last purchase there and I will dedicate the time I have wasted returning items to make sure no one else has to suffer. This store is obviously not concerned about customer service and can offer items at a reduced price because they don't care who or what they hire. Please refrain from shopping at Target, unless you could care less about customer service.

Target Online Order Review from Glenview, Illinois

Ordered off a baby register only to find out the item is not being shipped to the correct address. automatically ships to the address on the register even though I put in my mailing address. Other guests had the same issue. Do not order online off the register if you want the item shipped to you. Now the item is going to the Mom to be and I have no way of stopping it. And customer service couldn't help. will never order online from a register again!

Really?

Drove across town to grab something. Couldn't hand enter my cc# like every other business on planet earth. Created a line for no reason. Embarrassing for me, frustrating for others behind me. Target, don't push your IT problems unto the rest of us. Terrible customer service. I won't be back again, they have gone downhill fast, and I live where they are from. Sad.stay away until they sort themselves out, that's my advice. What happened to this company I can't imagine. They cleared a ton of people last year, now we get cubicle decisions like this. Can't hand enter a card? Guy with id available? Mind blowing.

Target lied about available products

I went to Target online to see if they sold Greenworks toilet bowl cleaner and Greenworks shower cleaner. The online site claimed that both items could be picked up at my local Target that very day. This was a lie. My local Target does not stock these items at all. I wasted a trip, wasted gas, wasted my time, all based on Target's lies. I also was horrified to find that their pharmacy section sells very limited calcium supplements, most includig mosting sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Why was I thinking Target woudl be the go-to place to get sundries in a small city? Thanks a lot, Target. I'm not going to shop here again.

I checked the Target store in your area, or the area that shows up on this review and they do not stock those greenworks items, so don't get upset about your mistake.

NEVER SHOP AT TARGET

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

You should stop wasting peoples time! I went to 3 locations, after I called them to make sure they have it in stock.

I was told in each locations that they will hold it 4 me. Went over, found none. Wasted my day driving in around! called the 800 # guest relationship and the agent I talked to tried to locate one available.

She called a few stores, than she finally told me to go to pick it up from Macedonia Oh, because she found it and they will hold it for me. I live in Cleveland,so Macedonia is not around the corner! I'm on my way over, so I called the store to let them know that I will see them soon to pick up my grill! talked to a few employees than none of them seems to know anything about it!

Was nothing on hold and that grill was not available for the last few days. Tired of incompetent people and Target! called back the 800# and i was offered a 20% discount online and $20.00 gift card! Are u serious?

why? to spend it in Target?

What about my time and the full gas tank on my truck? When I called the stores to ask about the item I was watching for I had a SKU # ready and description.

The store has over 200 employees, they are not all going to know about your grill. If you are old enough to drive you are old enough to use common sense.

Overcharged

We spent over $120.00 the other night. When we got home we found that we were overcharged on two items.

Those overcharges totalled $7.50. The first item was Charmin tissue. The tag clearly stated it was $9.99. The second item was printer ink cartridges.

The tag clearly said $32.99. We were charged $12.49 for the Charmin and $37.99 for the ink. The next morning after the store opened I called the store. Without exageration, the phone rang 10 times.

I hung up and called back and again another 10 times without an answer. So I called the 800 number. After explaining the situation, I was told they cant do anything over the phone. Well duh, no kidding.

My point was for them to take over and handle this. So once I showed my aggravation, suddenly they connected me to the store. Funny how getting a little high pitched in tone, things change. Ok so they connect me to the store.

The person who answered named Nicole said she was a team manager. I told her the situation and she told me to come in and it will be taken care of . Well duh again, they better! She also said she is sending notices to the department heads to take care of those issues.

It gets better. So two days later I go back to Target, wasting my time and efforts. Immediately went to those items. Low and behold, the wrong sale tag was still there and so was the tag for the ink cartridges.

I took pictures and brought it up to the checkout. The cashier was very polite and gave me the refunds. The manager on duty also came up. He seemed to be genuinely concerned and said he would take care of the issue.

The whole point is that sure mistakes happen. But when you bring it up to someones attention and is told it will be rectified, it should be before others are over charged as well. So I got my money back and two $3.00 vouchers. I think my time and gas was more than that and should have been a bit more consideration there.

But thats not my point her obviously.

I do have to say that this is not the first time I was overcharged. Wondering if I even want to continue shopping at Target

OK watch the register when they ring you up and mention it on the spot. At least they took care of you and made it right. You wouldn't have wasted time on the phone if you had just gone back to the store in the first place.

Nuka Cola Soda

Yea similar experience at my local Target along with the others. Went in and heard over the walky talkie of an employee, "Sold out, won't be getting any more in."

That's really not what a customer wants to hear. Perhaps maybe you might "try" to see if it's possible. The employees also seemed unconcerned about the problem. Almost to the point of annoyed with customers for a corporate problem.

Perhaps limit the amount of products some of the employees can buy. I would've preferred to at least have tried one soda. Also lost out on potential sales as I came in for a night-guard and some vitamins but decided against it due to my disappointment.

The employees have no control over whether they will get more stock. That is up to corporate and the distribution center(s).

How do you know it was purchased by employees?

They don't get 'special privilege' to buy things before they are available to the general public.

TL;DR it's a soda. get over yourself.

I am a manager at another retail location, and I tell my employees that if a customer is being rude to them on the phone, to hang up. If a customer is rude in the store, disengage and walk away.

Just because you are a customer does not mean you can treat the employees badly or rudely, and personally I do not put up with it. You didn't own up to it, but I'm willing to bet you were rude to the employee who hung up on you, so I applaud them.

Of course they can never admit to being rude, some of these posters. I never had a problem with someone in retail, or fast food, because I treat others the way I want to be treated.

Sometimes these people mistake being told "sorry, you cannot do that" as rude, things like sorry no receipt, no return.

Some people even play the race card. For example this one woman was complaining about how she was ignored and treated rudely because she was black, it turns out she thought she should be allowed to interrupt because she had a small question.

HA!!! I saw the sign out front of the Target in Port Saint Lucie like back in April 2015.

I would say he is pissed.. My mother and I have had trouble with the Pharmacy manager Tricia Wurster the past couple months. We heard about a problem like this with her from another employee in the store.

I can see her doing this to the poor kid, she can be cruel. My mother and I heard her mocking a customer who had a speech impediment while sitting next to the Pharmacy.

Sim card

An employee at your SLP mn store recently tried to insert a sim card using a screwdriver not her hand.

She broke 2 prongs off my phone rendering it worthless and costing me over 60.00 for a new phone. I suggest you only allow people with cell phone experience to help customers who buy phones at Target not people who break the phones.

This 100 word rule is ridiculous. I expect it from government not business.

it was a consumer cellular phone. I have been a target customer for over 50 years and expect more from your company, it's bad enough my visa card was cancelled when I was in Ecuador doing your security breach

First of all get your facts straight, the 100 word thing is from this website, not from Target, and second you are obviously trying to get a free phone because apparently the exact same thing happened to you at Walmart and a few other places.

I think the problem is you entering the wrong information. I can see them messing up once, but not twice.

Get mommy or daddy to help you the next time. I am sure that they can see what you are doing wrong and correct your mistake so you get what you ordered.

Target Customer Service is MISSING the TARGET! Horrible!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This is the letter I sent to Target. I've wasted enough time and don't want to rewrite it for this review! To my retail friend no more! Why you are losing this LIFETIME customer… I have been a loyal customer for the life of Target. I began shopping at Target in the 80s and have been shopping there ever since. Today, that relationship has ended. “Why?” You say! Because, today I was in need of a quick birthday gift for a child’s birthday party. I decided to get her a Target Gift Card by email. I assumed that the gift card would arrive in my email box as something that I could print and give as a card. I wanted to give $20, but that wasn’t an option, so I upped it to $25. My daughter chose the design she liked for her friend and we went through check-out. Upon receiving the confirmation email, I was very upset to find that the gift card would arrive within 4 hours. This is the digital age and this should be instant. We had to leave for the party. I IMMEDIATELY went into my account to try and cancel the order, but, as you know, I could not do that. So, I called customer support. After explaining my concern, the agent said he would see what he could do and put me on hold. I waited for about 10 minutes, heard a click sound and soon after “If you’d like to make a call…” Frustrated, I sent a reply to the confirmation email to cancel the card, grabbed twenty ugly dollars from my wallet for the gift, and left the party that I was now late for. Upon arriving home from the party, I called Target again. As much as I explained my frustration and my history as a Target shopper, as well as my frustration over being disconnected, all I was told was verbiage about return policies and where in small print is says delivery can take up to 4 hours. Eventually, after I expressed my frustration and intention to never shop at Target again, and the ridiculousness of Target holding my money hostage, I was transferred to a supervisor. Again I had to tell my whole *** story all over again. Again I’m told about his inability to return the card. I tell him about my intentions and that I’m 51 and have been shopping at Target since college. To that, he says “you don’t sound that old”. What? Eventually he too puts me on hold saying he’s going to contact a department that might have more ability to provide a refund. This time, after only 3 minutes, I hear the telltale click followed by “If you’d like to make a call…” I wait to see if MAYBE someone will call me back. Your agents DO have my phone number. But no. And, do you think I intend to start all over again. No! Seems I will have to use up this $25 at Target, and then I will be done. And oh, when people ask me why I can no longer shop at Target….I’ll let them know that Target no longer has the customer support they used to and it’s not a safe place for me to shop! Good Bye TARGET ****Oh my, an update! I tried to post this to your feedback section on the Target website. I chose “online experience” from the drop down window. Nothing else would load. I tried several times. It says “please wait” indefinitely. So, despite my desire to never call Target again, I called customer support. I asked the agent where I could send a letter. He came back and told me to “email it to www.somthing...” (I don’t remember the rest of the URL). I told him that that wasn’t an email address. He told me I could email my letter to that address. I told him that it was a web address, not an email address. There was no reply and the line was silent. Three times I said, “Hello, are you there”, no reply! Get your act together! You are missing the TARGET all together!

You should never wait until the literal last minute to shop for anything when you know you have to have it at a certain time. Are you sure you're 51 and not 5?

Agreed. Customers like this need to act like adults, not children. It's such a shame, and so bad and sad to see any employee or manager has to deal with them.

MrSharkNasty

This is funny! There was obviously nothing they could do for you!

You couldn't accept what they told you so there is only one way to stop with your harassment, CLICK! And believe it or not what you were doing is harassment.

Fussing over a 4 hour delivery is just insane. You should have been better prepared for this birthday party.

New gender neutral policy

I honestly could not believe it when I read that Target was going to gender neutral signage in their stores. Seriously, where does it end? * gender neutral dressing rooms? * gender neutral restrooms? * no more dolls for sale because they might offend a little girl who only wants to play with cars? * no more cars for sale because they might offend a little boy who only wants to play with dolls? * what if I am offended by the color red because it reminds me of blood? * should you put all of the clothing together in one huge department, all mixed up together because you don't want to insinuate that some clothes are for girls and some for boys and some for adults? * what about people who don't celebrate Halloween? Would you stop selling Halloween decor for fear of offending those people? * the same thing can be said for Christmas or Easter or Hannukah or any other holiday for that matter? * men's and women's watches all mixed together because you don't want to offend anyone with gender grouping? * maybe you should stop separating clothing by size because you might make an overweight person feel bad because their shirt is bigger than one that is a lesser size? * along those same lines, maybe you should just get rid of sizes on clothing and shoes? Size neutral? This is perhaps the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a major corporation. Take a stand and say no more! Or you will lose more business. Barbara Schweiger

Cars are for boys, dolls are for girls. Blue is for boys and pink is for girls.

It's been that way for hundreds of years.

It's that way for a reason. Leave it alone.

actually in the 50s pink was masculine and blue was feminin. Also I'm a woman, I always identified as such and growing up my favourite toy was a transformer.

wow, you people are really taking this too far. Glad to see the conservative *** have figured out how to use sites other than Facebook and "the Yahoo".

You are all willing to go to war with Target for something as small as changing the layout of their toys sections yet McWalmart and the rest of corporate America destroys the middle class and you don't even bat an eye. Too bad intelligence doesn't trickle down.

I hope you all have sons who grow up to be drag queens, and daughters who become-gasp-welders! You are all retarded.

Guest

I totally agree. This is just beyond reasonable.

This gender neutrality is just the tip of the ice berg.

Stand up America and say no to Target. Stop shopping their stores and see how well they do without the customers that made them successful.

Guest

Agree 1000%

Who made Target what it is today? Families with Children - Men and Women - boys and Girls.

Very disappointed and rather disgusted at this gender neutrality BS.
