I blame Target for what happened in the parking lot with my daughter. When she spilled her drink, I just lost it. I was already angry at them for not giving me all my money back and their *** customer service that I unfortunately snapped when she accidentally spilled...

Original review Sep 21, 2016
I bought two clothes items last week 9/15/2016 and reeceived the 10.00 for buying 40.00 worth of clothing items.I went to exchange the item on 9/20/2016 and I was only able to exchange it for the exact same item.

I did not like how this item fit and still wanted to buy something eles. The clerk told me that I could not do this. Last week when I bought this item, I could buy anything I wanted. I wanted to buy something I liked with the discount I got last week.

I got a different size as maybe it will fit my daughter. The two ladies told me I could not do this and very rudely told me that one of the items I brought up would not work. I told them I wanted to voice my opinion and opened the drawer and handed be a review card. I there for left the store very bitter.

I have returned things at this Apple Valley store and have had a negative experience more than once. At least smile and be friendly. Keep in mind nobody is perfect and I did lose the receipt, however I was treated like I was a thief because of this. They said that since this is the fourth time that I did not have the receipt I would have to get the lowest selling price.

They don't own the merchandise and should not take my transaction personally.I want to go back to Target and buy merchandise and feel like I can get the same discount as when I bought the item.

When I went home my daughter dropped her pop on her clothing that she was drinking. I was already angry at Target that I just started hitting her. I found out later on that someone reported me to the police and when they showed up on my doorstep I was begging them not to take my daughter from me, but they did anyway.

Well, The Salvation Army Store has A Very Strict No Returns Or Exchanges Policy at Their Stores Too! At Least Target Will Refund Their Crap Merchandise Sometimes.

Guest

I don't believe a word of this story but if it were true you'd be an abuser, which is nothing to do with Target whatsoever.

Guest

wow, mother/father of the year, right here.

Guest

good grief....we've been sharing bathrooms with people of different sexes for a very, very long time, you just didn't realize it. And Target does have "family" restrooms that are private for those who are afraid (for whatever reason).

I just don't know why people are still crying about this. Be more concerned about the *** *** men that roam this world than transgenders.

Anyway, you injured your daugther and it's someone else's fault? You are responsible for your own actions. As for your return issue, that too is your fault.

Take responsibility for once. geez

Unless you really, really enjoy sharing a rest room with someone of the opposite sex, I question your shopping at Target in the first place.

Target Kailua Kona Customer Service is SO rude!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I called Target's Kailua Kona store about 20 minutes ago to talk with someone in Electronics. I dialed the store number, hit "2" for Electronics, but next thing I heard a dial tone - the automated system had disconnected me. I called back, hit "2" and again was disconnected. The third time I called, I hit "0" and was put through to Customer Service. I explained I wanted to talk with Electronics but had just called twice and had been disconnected. She said I hadn't been disconnected, I just hadn't waited long enough. I explained I had heard a dial tone and was concerned I'd be disconnected again. She said "Well, I can't yank the phone out of the wall and walk over there. I have to transfer you." I could not believe my ears. I didn't say a word. She transferred me to Electronics and I spoke to a very polite, helpful associate there. Customer Service gives a TERRIBLE impression of the store.

Only self check before noon!!??

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Target, in an effort to eliminate providing an employee to check out their customers, has installed self check registers. I do not want to check out my Sunday morning grocery order of $200.00-$250.00 myself or have someone assist me in self check!! The platforms for placing purchases and bagging are just too small, not to mention all the issues that the public have with self check. Can you imagine checking out a large order??!! After a few weeks of providing one checkout register - now there are none. I will take my Sunday business elsewhere where I won't have to self check. Prices certainly do not reflect the lack of even one check out line. BTW there are 19 registers - wonder why!!??

there usually is a cashier "watching" the self checkouts, but there's also quite a few lanes open (at least at my Target). They just brought in the self checkouts, and I've heard many complaints about them each time I shop there, hence why I go to a checkout.

No regular checkouts before noon?

That's rediculous. Call corporate and complain.

Guest

This is not true for every Target location in the U.S.

Guest

Corporate Headquarters probably chose to do this to save money.

Senior Management probably does not want to pay a cashier to stand at a register and not have many customers.

To them that would be a waste of money.

So exactly when are the other registers open?

TARGET is a thief. If you return the item you bought, you will never get any refund.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Previously, my impression of target is that once someone's credit card is stolen, always he/she found the card was used in target. Is it a "safe place" to purchase with the stolen credit cards all the time?

and if you read the target return policy, you will find that if you return the stuff through mail, they only refund you by gift card instead of real money. What's kind of logic is that?

furthermore, if you research "target never refund" on google, you will find lots information of people's complaining about there never got refund after return by mail. They are the big Thief, I don't know how many small money they stole from costumers by this way. Actually, I just experienced it.

I got a $100 value stuff on TARGET.COM, however they put the wrong picture on the website, so I received wrong item which is not what I saw online. I called them, they said they will ship again, ridiculously, they shipped the same wrong item on the 2nd time. I gave up, just sent them an email saying I don't want purchase it anymore, i will return and wanna get refund. Target replied that they agreed on that. However that's the last email I got from target.

After 20 days target received my return, I didn't get any further flowing up email about refund processing. during calling target several times, those slackers' answer are forever "refund is on the processing", " please call PAYPAL to confirm", "our system is during updating now, I couldn't send you the invoice number". full of nonsense. When did you need to call Paypal to get refund when purchasing on Amazon or Ebay? Never happens to my life. On the other hand some rep told me they sent me gift card as refund to my address, but I never received as well. And logically, if they refund to paypal, why would they also sent the giftcard? why there is no any invoice sent to my email?

Target is a thief, where thieves also shop there. Please aware of this, never shop there to avoid get into trouble!

I Called Paypal and they helped me file a dispute to Target. Target currently closed my case.

I probably need to wait another 30 days to see the refund. Most of people they probably just gave up in the middle, if the money amount is small.

Without a clear refund system, Target has been misappropriating customers' money sneakily many years, why no one question Target is Illegal?

Why no one Sue Target?

Target Credit Card Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Target is out of date with how associates and store handle the credit card. When I got the credit card I was told it was a discount card and not a credit card. To me that is lack of knowledge on the managers end. Most stores can look up your acct number to make purchases not target. The card have to be present. Target do better. Glad I paid off the acct so I will not have to deal with target

BAD BAD BAD - FOR TARGET.COM (ONLINE PURCHASE!!)

Most Pathetic service by Target.com online and worse they don't let you submit a bad review!!!. I wonder how is their online business even surviving??

I ordered this item and after waiting for quite few days, I yesterday received my order - which I found that it was a wrong item sent. I ordered Nantucket and they sent me Breakfast Blend. For this issue, I would have called almost 5 times --- for 3 times nobody just picked up after even 30 mins on hold. 4th time one lady with a very weird voice picked up and in 2 mins she put me on hold to never return..I was on hold for 15-20 mins with no response!

5th time finally some person spoke to just tell me that its a website issue and she can't do anything about it! On top of that if I order a replacement item, that would also be a wrong item again, as their online system has some issues and won't get fixed in next 2 weeks. Then I said, okay anyway send me a replacement with expedited delivery, as I have already waited long for my right order. She assured me it would be expedited one, and gave me the delivery date 14 days from today!!!

- IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL EXPEDITE DELIVERY 14 DAYS????? Seriously I am highly pissed off with Target.com (online) customer service...And I would not recommend Online Target.com to anyone.

I don't blame you for being mad. They seem to specialize in sending the wrong items.

Then, instead of correcting the problem, immediately, they come up with these lame excuses. Also, I have heard about them, asking customers for a good review. Well, they better realize, they are nothing, without, regular customers. Also, I believe, I have spoke to the lady, with the raspy voice, more than once.

This makes me think, that, there are only a few people, answering those phones. All this no longer matters to me, I'm done with them, totally ,and have cut up they're credit card.

North Brunswick NJ Target lost merchandise I paid for

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Unbeknownst to me, the cashier failed to bag an item I purchased. When I got home I called the store to ask them to hold it for me.

I was concerned because it was the last item in stock. Customer relations was exceedingly rude and told me I would have to come back to handle the matter in person. I called corporate customer service and ended up on hold for more than 1 hour before giving up. The representative did not call back as promised despite having my phone number.

Called corporate again, and another representative finally got through to the store. I was told my purchase would be in customer service with my name on it. Two days later I went to the store and they did not have my item. I was also informed that they do not put customer names on merchandise.

I called corporate again, and a third representative called the store and was told the item had been sent to customer relations, but had subsequently disappeared. I have been told my item is no longer in stock.

You are slow aren't you. How are they to know what your name is.

Why not do a double check and make sure you had what you purchased. These employees cannot even count to ten, they are as slow as you.

Guest

It would have been best that once you figured out something was missing to immediately go back to the store, they are open until 10pm in most locations. Or first thing the next morning.

You had them put it on hold for you, they only hold for 24 hours (been through this before). You gotta get there quicker. If you don't pick it up in 24 hours, they put it back on the shelf for someone else to purchase.

Best thing is to make sure everything you pay for is bagged, watch them like a hawk if you have to. Lesson learned.

Diaper promotions on a regular basis, but no diapers. One box every time I enter the store for the promotion which requires you to buy TWO boxes to get the "deal".

Long waits as the stocking person looks for diapers. Nope. No diapers. This has happened four times now in the last three months.

Do they ever carry enough inventory for their promotions? I wonder. I'm disgusted. I spoke with customer service each time.

Can they order me a box, hold my one found box, then I'll return at a later date to get both with the promotion. Nope. Can they give me half the promotion? Nope.

Can they give me smaller boxes equal to the larger promotion box size?

Nope.

I am wondering if the diapers were for you judging from how immature you are acting for something that is out of their control. With your temper I wonder if your baby is in safe hands. If this annoys you, would you harm your baby for crying?

Sometimes people flock to the store like locusts on a crop when the sale starts, you have to be early. Sometimes they only have a few on hand, other times they may have more, they stock what they have, and it may be odd numbers which leaves one item.

Sometimes the trucks don't come in on time and there's only one or two of a item that goes on sale. Sometimes the shelves are empty on sale day. I've experienced it all.

And it happens everywhere. I can assure you it happens to all of us.

Target - Cherokee Footwear Shoes Review from Albany, Oregon

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a pair of shoes for my son and they were of such poor quality that they were broken and looked terrible in less than a week! I took them back without a reciept and they would take then back because they "couldn't verify that they were less than a week old, and they looked much more worn then that" (even though they could look up my credit card!)

The last 2 times I have been to Target, was unimpressed with how they treated me at the register- not blatently rude, but close to it. After my experience this afternoon with their terrible quality and even worse custemer service, I don't think I'll be back!

Completely incompetent, rude and inept management! Never again!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I'm a new mom who was just hit by a lady backing out of a space while driving in a parking lot. My Insurance company advised me to replace my daughter's car seat, as it is likely no longer safe after being in a collision. I went online to Target.com and because I had just moved recently, I updated my shipping address. I then proceeded to order a new car seat to be delivered. Online the estimate was two day shipping. When I later checked my email, I discovered that Target was shipping the car seat 10 days later, to my old address. I contacted the store only to be told that if an order was placed more than five or 10 minutes ago, Target was unable to modify, cancel or otherwise change my order. Seriously?! I explained that I had updated my shipping address but the system wasn't accepting it. The representative then also tried to update my address on his end, and also had trouble updating it. Once the address was finally updated, I told the representative to please ship the item to my new address. Since I had placed the order three hours before I called, I did not think this would be a problem. Boy was I wrong. The representative then asked if I could drive the three hours to my old address and pick up the item once it was delivered. Since my old address was an apartment building, I really didn't feel comfortable leaving the expensive item sitting there. Not to mention that I needed the car seat to even drive anywhere at all! I explained that I needed the item ASAP and asked if he could please contact the fulfillment warehouse, since the order was undoubtedly not processed yet, and have them re-route to the correct address. The representative said he could not and advised me to contact the shipping carrier to see if they could possibly reroute the item. Then he advised me that this would likely be a cumbersome process, and it might take several weeks for me to get my item. I then asked to speak to a manager, Aisha as she identified herself, came on the line immediately rude and condescending and told me there was nothing more that they could do. I asked her again to please contact the warehouse. She told me "no I'm not gonna contact the warehouse you only have two options..." And then she talked about waiting until the carrier shipped the item... At this point I interrupted her and said "please cancel my order refund my money and I will never do business with your company again." It's likely I will have to fight tooth and nail to a either, get my item or get reimbursed. In the meantime, I am a new mom who cannot drive anywhere because I don't have the proper tools I need to keep my children safe! I used to love target, I have spent thousands of dollars at the store over the years. Never again, nor will any member of my family ever visit Target, or spend any money on their online store. A word to any of the management who actually give a ***, fire Aisha and get your customer service in line!

Some of mine were deleted, some of yours were deleted, but the comments were you posed as me and claimed to work with Aisha in Pioneer, despite living over 100 miles away in Fairfield, are still there.

This just shows how poorly this site has been monitored. They allow impersonation, cyberbullying, harassment, homophobic posts, sexist posts, bullying of the disabled and a lot more illegal things.

I only come on here from time to time to see if things have changed, they have not. The thing is you can complain about anything here except for how poorly the site is being monitored. Once you post a negative complaint about this site you are banned and your review is deleted. Also the site has their favorite members and they try to make people like you look bad by only deleting enough comments to make you look bad.

These are the people who are allowed to cyber bully, make homophobic and sexist posts, impersonate others.

Bully the disabled. The person impersonating you has been doing this for years and usually goes by the name Kevin Richards.

Guest

You shouldn't let this one bad experience ruin Target for you. Target's level of customer service and management is pretty much the same as everybody else's.

The customer service at Target is usually pretty good and the people are usually helpful, but not always.

It depends on the person. You could have a bad experience anywhere, so I say just keep going to Target if you like it.

Shelah Qdb

I've had the dubious pleasure of working at Target, and Aisha sounds like a stereotypical Target manager. They will not fire her because she is exactly the kind of person they want in management, apparently. Every single manager at the Target where I worked was arrogant, condescending, lazy, and useless.

I hope a lot of people read you're review, because, this company is totally walking on it's own customers, over and over. It's about time, to let them know, that they are nothing, without they're regular customers.

Although, I won't spend another dime at any of they're stores, they,re corporate headquarters is going to be receiving another letter, explaining why they should start listening to customers, and train they're representatives on using good PR. We have many decent companies to deal with.

Andrea Ahw

Since you went online to place the order, and you had to update your shipping address, then you are the one who made the error somewhere. Online orders are shipped to the address that is shown on the confirmation page.

If you change your shipping address in your account profile, you also have to select the new address from the default address, which is the one you used previously, when confirming the order. It asks you to verify the shipping address before you submit the order.

So in essence, you made a mistake, and got mad that the store could not fix it. So, you refuse to shop at Target because you were careless.

Reegan Jil

I used to love target as well. I guess they my business.

Guest

I said this before and I will say it again. Telling you "no" is not the same as being rude. They are not going to fire her because of your little temper tantrum.

Reginaldo Jwy
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1133014

Well pardon me if I think that a "manager" in "customer service" should at least attempt to provide decent customer service. I suppose that qualifies as a tantrum?

Lol. Look, it was not just that she upheld a ridiculous policy (seriously what company denies a modification or cancellation to an order unless you meet their ludicrous deadline of 5-10 minutes? It takes longer than that just to get them on the phone) it was her tone of voice and attitude altogether. Completely unprofessional for anyone in the industry, but especially management.

And when I asked to speak with her manager? Her response: "I'm the highest level manager there is." If true, which I very much doubt, for shame!

Treated like criminals for a mistake, threatened by security

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Jun 25, 2016

I'm appalled at my husband's treatment by the security woman, Mia Clemens. She was threatening, condescending, wouldn't explain what was going on, and even said the shoelaces were ***.

She had no problem repeating that she could send us to jail and usually would. My husband made a mistake and was treated less than human. I wasn't at the checkout, but I left the store with him, which is when ms. Clemens accosted us.

She accused Mikie (my husband) of stealing and he could "come clean." But in terms we didn't understand. Her hostility was frightening and I even told her that in the little security room with the handcuffs on the bench we sat on. I said that when she approached us at the door, she was aggressive and scary. She seemed a little surprised I thought that, but then continued to threaten and belittle us.

We now cannot use the entire shopping center or we'll go to jail for trespassing. This is ridiculous, and I can't believe I patronaged this Target since it opened frequently, spending plenty of money, and was treated this way for what Ms. Clemens all but said was an accident. But she was happy to follow up anything like that with how she could have us arrested.

I'm angry for my husband, who is a good, decent person with a huge heart. Ever since Ms. Clemens treated him that way, he's been down and feeling like he's a bad person. I tell him he isn't, it's just that a really mean-spirited person both said he was a thief and should go to jail and that the shoelaces were too *** to send someone to jail for.

The officer she called recognized my husband and asked him if he'd ever arrested him. My husband said, "I was a corrections officer at the jail.

Maybe we met." The officer then remembered him. I usually let the mean ones roll off my back, but to see my dearest love have his spirits shattered and confidence bashed in by cruelty, because that's exactly what it was, makes me want to take a stand and say something.

Original review Jun 24, 2016
My husband and I have been going to this Target since it opened. Today, he accidentally forgot to pay for a pair of shoelaces, and our total of food and essentials was about $70. A woman pulled us aside and into a room, put us on a bench with handcuffs hanging on the sides, and asked if my husband had taken anything. He said no. She and another woman kept us in a security office. They said they had it on camera that my husband took a 2 dollar pair of shoelaces and hid them under the flap in the top part of the buggy. "Concealing" they called it. I said he wouldn't do that, just look at all he bought. I understand that companies have to protect from theft, but the main woman who accosted us was rude and degrading. She was thrilled to say how she could easily send us to jail for this, but she wasn't going to. She said this a few times for what seemed like no reason. I was angry, but my husband was nice and cooperative as always. Now, we have a trespass rule where we can't even enter the whole shopping center for two years or we will be arrested. What kind of justice is this? The irksome thing is how we were treated even though we explained what happened. This woman said he still might have been stealing them because, "Some people get high from that." If you look carefully at the top basket of a Target shopping cart, the flap opens down and is tilted down. My husband had forgotten the shoelaces were there and they would have ended up in the cart in the parking lot, forgotten. That's if they didn't slide out from under the flap. Any thief would know not to stick something "concealed" under that flap because it would most likely fall out. I am completely disappointed in this woman's treatment of my husband as a criminal when he was nothing but cordial and compliant. I do not recommend using this store for anything anymore. The customer service in a simple and obvious misunderstanding was appalling.

Just because you were fired from Target does not mean that you actually know anything about their procedures. After all, you apparently did not understand that you cannot sexually harass your co-workers.

IF you knew how to read you would see that I was falsely accused.

I would like to add you HAVE RIGHTS! Your husband should have never signed anything.

Your husband should have asked for the police to be called! Your husband should have said nothing and obtained a lawyer. Your husband should have taken this to court if his reputation mattered to him. Your husband could have eventually cleared his name.

Want to know why? The item was not on him. It was on the cart owned by Target in plain sight! Target would have had a hard time proving it was intentional and not just an error by the cashier and yourself.

That's why they bullied him into signing that restraining order acknowledging his guilt.

BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CASE. It always baffles me how people can be so clueless about their rights.
