Target - "Free shipping" comes with $30 "handling fee"!
Like others who have written, I was very surprised to be charged a $30 "handing fee" during a "free shipping" promotion on Target.com. I ordered a bistro set for which the $24.99 shipping fee was waived...but then they charged me the $30 handling fee.
I do not remember this charge being listed during checkout. Evidently there was some small print that "handling fees still apply." What handling fees? Who even has handling fees anymore? Very sleazy.
When I tried to contact customer service, the person responding via chat did not have a good grasp of English to the point where I could only guess what word he meant to use.
Their process for canceling vitamin subscriptions is less than intuitive as well. Be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with this vendor.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.

target lost a sale here on a 65 tv oh well guess they trying to drum up some money before closing stores next year but this seems to be the wrong approach in my book
I don't understand why you find a problem with their English or make a comment about their English when it is apparent you cannot read. The fine print clearly states what you have to pay for. Not their fault your own reading of the English language is poor.
